About Jens Buettner
In the last 30 years, Jens Eric Büttner, owner of JENS BUETTNER DESIGN ANTIQUES, has been an internationally known photographer in the fashion and advertising industry.
He was also the owner and director of Kunstbureau, a gallery of contemporary photography in Paris where he curated many shows.
Living in Paris the last 27 years, Jens had fallen in love with antiques and vintage
and fine art. This was cultivated by his regular visits to the historic Marché aux Puces and the famous biannual Foire Nationale à la Brocante just steps away from his home in Croissy sur Seine, in the heart of the beautiful Pays des Impressionistes.
His 19th century Napoleon III house was filled with his unique and authentic discoveries. He found eclectic items of such beauty and quality, that his friends started to buy objects and art from him for their own homes.
In 2012 he and is wife Angelika, a fashion photographer, moved to New York and acquired a house in beautiful Weston, Connecticut.
In 2013 he started his new company JENS BUETTNER DESIGN ANTIQUES fueled by his passion and love for furniture, modern design and fine art.
JENS BUETTNER DESIGN ANTIQUES features a selection of furniture, decorative objects and fine art.
